If you were to live in an alternate dimension, where would it be? I'd prefer if it wasn't Earth.

"the future where we are all dead and gone and there is no humanity left" Huh... Well, not the future per se, but I wouldn't mind living somewhere in space. If I can find a place without life.

"not the future per se" what do you mean by that? "i want to live on the moon" "it's already been lived on" "ok then i'll go to jupiter" "already had a colony there" it's pretty much impossible to live anywhere besides earth or you could just move to the past, idk

"What do you mean by that?" I wouldn't be able to time travel to the future to see if it was dead. "I want to live on the moon." "It's already been lived on." "Ok then I'll go to Jupiter." "Already had a colony there." So? I'm going to choose where I wanna live, I don't care if others already have been there. "It's pretty much impossible to live anywhere besides Earth." It's possible, you know. Maybe a different planet with better conditions?

"Maybe a different planet with better conditions?" well yeah you're gonna need a habitable planet in order for humans to survive unless we become aliens and can evolve to breathe in oxygen-free atmospheres

"Well yeah you're gonna need a habitable planet in order for humans to survive." The problem is that planets are very rare, so I would either have to go into space or travel back in time. "Unless we become aliens and can evolve to breathe in oxygen-free atmospheres" That would take forever.

"The problem is that planets are very rare, so I would either have to go into space or travel back in time." you'll never find another planet like earth either you find something suitable enough for us to live on or you forget about going to other planets entirely

"You'll never find another planet like Earth" You said the same thing about Mars. Either way, I would still try.

"I don't know what you're talking about but I can assure you that there are no living things on Mars." What does that matter? Even if it's dead, I would still prefer to live there. Well, unless I end up with a disease.

"What does that matter?" it's impossible to move there without risking death "Even if it's dead, I would still prefer to live there" you wouldn't be able to live there anyway "unless I end up with a disease" the chances of that happening are astronomically high

"It's impossible to move there without risking death" I didn't say that it was possible. "You wouldn't be able to live there anyway" Maybe it's not possible right now, but in the future... Maybe. "The chances of that happening are astronomically high." A disease on Mars isn't really a big deal, though.

"Mars isn't really a big deal" except for the fact that we would die before even setting foot on mars the radiation levels are so high that you'd die instantly

"Except for the fact that we would die before even setting foot on Mars." If we were to travel at lightspeed, it should take about 9 hours to reach Mars. The radiation levels are so high that you'd die instantly." Isn't that what we have space suits for?

"If we were to travel at lightspeed, it should take about 9 hours to reach Mars." there is no way that humans could travel at light speed "isn't that what we have space suits for?" there is no way to make an outfit that can protect us from all that radiation and we don't even have any kind of suit capable of doing that

"There's no way that humans could travel at light speed." Not in our current technology, but who knows what kind of future we'll have? And maybe there are other planets that have a faster method of transportation than ours. "There's no way to make an outfit that can protect us from all that radiation." Well, maybe not all, but some. Maybe not as effective as the ones that protect us here on Earth, but maybe enough to save us from dying.

"Not in our current technology, but who knows what kind of future we'll have? And maybe there are other planets that have a faster method of transportation than ours." not in our lifetime, but i suppose it is possible that this will happen in the distant future "Well, maybe not all, but some. Maybe not as effective as the ones that protect us here on Earth, but maybe enough to save us from dying." not if you're talking about anything that emits radiation or is radioactive

"Not in our current technology, but I suppose it is possible that this will happen in the distant future." I'd like to think so. "Not if you're talking about anything that emits radiation or is radioactive." If it was a planet without any life, it wouldn't matter, right?

"If it was a planet without any life, it wouldn't matter, right?" nope the problem with planets is that they're typically rocky and full of things that emit radiation you can't find a planet without radiation, even if you're living in space
