Do you think the people who make "free models" are good or bad?

I'm talking about the people who say they made it but they didn't. The ones that just use someone else's model and then put it up for free. The ones that take other people's scripts, and then say they made it.

They're not bad in my opinion... I mean, why would they copy them? Maybe they can't script well enough so they don't want to lose their ROBUX, maybe they just want to save up... I see no problem with it...

Well, there is a problem with it. They steal other peoples work.

Yeah, but what would the point be of stealing another person's work if you couldn't make money out of it?

I guess you have a good point... It wouldn't make any sense to take someone's work. But still, it's stealing. And I think some people should be able to tell who REALLY made something.

What if you made something really great and then someone else copied it? Would you be happy knowing that they got all the credit for your hard work?

Yeah. I would. What would be so wrong about getting credit for hard work? What's the problem? I don't see one!

I don't understand... So, if you spent hours on a script and someone just took it and posted it up for free, then you'd be fine with that?

Well yeah. If they got credit for it, then I'm fine with it. They should get credit for it because they did do something right. I mean, look at me! I'm making a really good post right now! And someone is going to read it and say "wow, this guy's smart!"

Yeah, but what if you said something like:
"Someone needs to make a gun that is better than the normal one that you get in starter kits..."
And then somebody copied your gun idea and made it and put it as a free model, and everybody liked it, but nobody ever knew you made the original version.

True... But I think people would recognize that I was the first person to make the gun. Also, what if someone asked how you made the gun? Then they would know.

It wouldn't matter if people know you're the one who made the gun - they still won't give you any credit for it!
