i've had it for a year now and i think its stupid. every time i click something, it opens up another app, like if i go to a website on internet explorer, it also opens up in metro.
and i hate metro because it makes the whole screen smaller, which means more scrolling

I'm talking about Windows 8, not Windows 7. I'm saying that I don't like Windows 8. And no, Windows 8 doesn't run better than 7. It actually runs worse.

i've never had any problems with it. maybe its just your computer or you're just bad at computers.

I highly doubt that. Microsoft just loves Metro now. They want to use it everywhere. They'll probably make it even worse in Windows 9.

the thing about metro is that you can replace it with other apps which you can get on the internet

But Windows 8 was supposed to be a full update of the entire operating system and not just the appearance. That's why there's so much hate toward it. If it was just an appearance update, people would be okay with it. But they took away some things, made others worse, and added even more features that nobody wanted.

i dont see how its any different than windows vista or 7.
if anything, i think windows 10 is going to be like xp, where it's just going to be an incremental update.
