They always use "lol" and "I lol'd" and "I lol'd so hard that I almost crapped my pants. :D". It just annoys me...

It's kind of like those "I LOL'd so hard I almost crapped my pants" kind of people.
You get annoyed by them and you know that they're actually trying to be funny.

I don't know why but there are just some people that use these things for no reason. They just randomly put them in the middle of a sentence or something.
