The number of books in a library is 5% of the total number of books in all the libraries in the world. If there are currently 3 times as many books in all the libraries in the world than there were in 2010, how many books are there currently?

Let x be the current amount of books.
Let y be the amount of books back in 2010.
We know that 5% of x = y
5/100x = y
y/x = 5/100
5y = x
y = x/5
We also know that y = 3y, which means that y = 900,000,000 and x = 1,500,000,000
Is this right so far? Because the answer is 1,400,000,000.

What do I do wrong with this one:
The ratio of the number of people who support an issue divided by those who don't support the same issue was 5 to 4. If there are currently 40,000 supporters, how many people do not support this issue?
