The Lich was once a great wizard who wished to rule over all. He took up the name "Lich" and summoned an army of undead soldiers, which consisted of zombies, skeletons, and a few other creatures that the Lich himself had never even seen. Eventually, he invaded the capital city, where the Lich planned on executing his plan; he would take over the world by force.
However, the Lich's plans were foiled when a small group of heroes discovered what the Lich was planning. The heroes were led by a sorcerer named Halsamor, who had learned how to use magic while studying under the tutelage of the Lich himself. Halsamor led the heroes through many dangerous battles, but they were eventually victorious and defeated the Lich.
In the end, the Lich was captured and sent to a place called "Hell" (which is what humans call it), where he would spend the rest of his days in torment.
