And I just finished a chapter where the MC is on an island and there is a monster attacking him. He starts running away but it's too fast. So he runs into a building to hide, but it's locked. He tries to break the door down, but it doesn't work.
So what does he do? He pushes one of those vending machines in front of the door so that the monster can't get in. Then the monster breaks through the wall and kills him.
What was wrong with the MC in this story?
