Is it because they think that bronies are gay or just because there's no real reason?
I don't really like it either but I'm not going to hate on someone for liking it. That's their opinion and what they like.

You didn't say "if people like things I hate" you said "if people like things" which implies all things.
And why would you hate on bronies for liking MLP? They're not doing anything wrong. The same could be said for people who hate on them for liking it.
