1) Put a title that isn't cliche like "WHOS THE BEST OTER" or something
2) Don't use the first post for an OTer list, unless it's not cliche
3) You don't have to make a thread about a video game. You can do that on other forums.
4) Please, don't just say "HAI GUYS IMA HERE!!!" and then spam random junk in there. It's so annoying to see all of that stuff. If you really want to be annoying, at least put it somewhere where people will see it and not in your first post.
5) Use grammar when typing. That makes me happy. It's really easy to fix too.
6) Please, don't tell us "OT IS BETTER THAN ATR!!1111". No one likes reading that, especially when they're on ATR and you're trying to get people to come here. We know what we are, don't try to change us.
7) If you want to talk about a game, you can do that in Off Topic, but please, if you want to go into a deep discussion, go over to Video Game Forum.
8) This may sound stupid, but you should listen to us. We aren't idiots, so we aren't going to be offended if you listen to us.
9) Don't put things like "I NEED FRIENDS" or "I WANNA BE THE BEST OTER" or something like that. Just don't.
10) Try to be more mature with your posts. No one really cares if you say a word that is a little bit inappropriate, just don't make a big deal out of it.
11) Try to make a good title for your post. Don't use cliche stuff and please, don't use titles with numbers in them unless it's very important.
12) I hate it when people say things like "I HAVE 1K POSTS!!!" or "I'M BETTER THAN U BCOZ I HAVE 3.5K POSTS!!!" Please, don't try to impress us with the number of posts you have, especially if you don't even know what it means.
13) Don't spam random junk or make threads about what you're going to do that day or something like that. If you want to talk about your plans, then go to RT or something.
14) Don't post links to other forums if you're not giving credit to the person who originally posted it or something. It's just really annoying.
15) Don't go around bumping old threads that don't need bumped. If you must bump a thread, at least look at it first before bumping it.
16) Please, don't put in caps lock or bold in your whole post, unless it is necessary. Just don't do it.
17) Don't make stupid threads like "WHO IS THE BEST OTER". No one likes reading those threads.
18) Try to be nice and polite on the forum. Being an idiot doesn't help anyone, including yourself.
19) Don't make stupid threads saying "HEY LOOK AT ME I'M A GIRL!!" or some stupid crap like that. It's really annoying.
20) Don't make threads about what you'll do after you graduate high school. No one cares.
21) This might sound dumb, but please, try not to ask dumb questions. It's really annoying and makes me feel like smashing my computer over and over again.
22) Don't make threads saying "I WANNA BE A FORUM MOD!!!" or something like that. No one will care if you don't have a good reason.
23) Don't spam stuff like "OGM NOOBZ GIVE ME TIX OR I WILL KILL U". We're not idiots.
24) Don't make threads saying "I WANT 50K VISITS TO MY PLACE!!" If you want visits, then just put in your place description or something. We aren't going to go out of our way just to go to your place.
25) Don't post random junk. We know how to do that by ourselves.
26) Don't post links to random websites unless it's absolutely necessary.
27) Please, don't make threads about things like "I'LL LEAVE THIS FORUM IF NOBODY RESPONDS TO THIS THREAD". It's not funny.
28) Don't post pointless threads like "I LIKE PEAS AND GUYS WHO LIKE PEAS ARE AWESOME!!!!!" We're not stupid. If you think a thread is pointless, then just don't reply to it.
29) This might sound dumb, but please, try not to act like an idiot. Being an idiot doesn't help anyone, especially yourself.
30) This is optional, but if you are a person who has made good threads and you are willing to give advice to other people who have made bad threads, then feel free to share your advice with them. The only reason why I said this is because sometimes, people would say things like "WHY DOES HE KEEP SAYING GOOD THREADS" or "WHY DOES HE TELL PEOPLE TO MAKE GOOD THREADS"
If you can follow these rules, then you will be fine in OT.
