I can see why they're being so cheap with them. I'd be more inclined to buy an X-Box One if it had a more unique selling point than the PS4's. For now anyway.

@115 It's not being cheap. I know for a fact that both of these systems will be $400 or less when they start production. (If Microsoft hasn't already released it.)

They're making the same mistake as the Xbox 360 did. The only thing the 360 had to offer was an awesome controller and a library full of games, but the PS3 was cheaper, and had Blu-ray which was better then DVD at that time.

@115 Not really. The PS3 is still going strong. (Even though it is now 7 years old.)

@115 Xbox 360 was successful even without Blu Ray. If you think about it, you don't really need a Blu Ray player. Most of what's on Blu Ray is also on DVD or you can just download a rip. Also, most movie companies are releasing films onto DVD and digital download (like Amazon) and some are actually releasing movies straight to digital download and no physical media. Xbox 360 was cheaper. I know for a fact that even when the Xbox One is released, it'll be at least $50-100 more than the Playstation 4. The Xbox 360 was also more powerful than the Playstation 3 and had a more advanced OS. So why would people buy a console that doesn't allow for used games? People who play games, do so because they enjoy playing new games and finding new ones to play. That's also why there's a market for used games. You can find cheap games if you look in all the right places. So why would you restrict users from getting used games? The Xbox 360 was released way before Blu Ray was mainstream. It's not as if the Xbox 360 was released and there was nothing else to consider. I wouldn't say the Xbox 360 was successful. Microsoft was actually loosing money on it. If the Xbox One isn't released soon, Microsoft will have to drop it and continue to make money off PC gaming.

I got my PS4 for free. The only thing I had to pay for was the controller.
