so we're learning about atoms and elements and i was like "what" because we never learned about that in 5th grade but then i realized i actually did learn about it when i was in 3rd grade but forgot all of it so now i'm not doing very well in this class
i've been struggling to stay on top of things in 6th grade because it's hard to keep track of what i need to know and what i don't know
like yesterday, i had a project due in science class and i hadn't done it yet
and so the teacher made everyone pair up to finish it
i didn't even have one finished and my partner was just sitting there watching me do mine
then she decided that we needed to start over with different partners
and so she picked someone else for me
the teacher said i didn't work fast enough and she said i didn't really understand how to do it
she kept saying how bad i was at the project
well i'll be the first one to admit i'm not good at science but that's only because i hate it and i don't really study for it

oh and i forgot to mention
my other partner was a kid named kevin and he had already started the project before class began
when they paired us up, he started copying everything he did off his paper onto my paper
it was annoying

now he's probably going to get a better grade in that class than me
because he actually studied and paid attention while i was doing something else
