Because you can't spell "Stand" correctly, and when it comes to things like this, I always correct people.

@luffy,
I just thought he would appreciate my help.
I mean, who doesn't like to be corrected? :P

I mean, think about it. When somebody makes a mistake, don't they wish someone would kindly tell them that they made a mistake?
I know that I do.

I've had people correct me when I make mistakes. I appreciate it, so why wouldn't the guy appreciate that I corrected him?

Oh, that's not what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about people who make little mistakes, like this one guy I met in school, he had an accent, and whenever he said "The" or "Their", it would come out as "Dat".

He was a nice guy, though.

Well, there is this one girl in school who I know is nice, but she makes a lot of grammatical errors. She types a lot, too.
I don't think she knows the difference between "your" and "you're" (or even "their" and "they're").

No, it's not that he can't understand it. It's just that he thinks I'm trying to be a jerk or something.

Well, I'm not. It's just that I've never had to correct anyone before. It's kind of interesting, though.

Yes, I am. The guy who I told about the song.
He wasn't even mad that I corrected him. He said that he always thought it was spelled "stand", so now I am teaching him how to spell it correctly.

I know what you mean. But, like I said before, when somebody makes a mistake, don't they wish someone would kindly tell them that they made a mistake?
I know that I do.
