It's not really meat pie just pie filled with minced beef, gravy and onions. It's basically a beef pot pie but the base is pastry rather than puff pastry.

There are many places in England you can buy them from, most major supermarkets sell them. There's also a lot of independent pie shops that make their own (though these usually only open during winter months).
