I have heard that "the" is, but I am not entirely sure.
what are others?
or what are the most used words in general?

"The" was used over 100 billion times in 2012 according to Wikipedia and I think that's pretty reliable. The next closest word is apparently "in", but I cannot find any information on how common that word actually is.

it's also the first word people learn in english (at least for me)
