if the sun was bigger it would provide more light at night
so if we had like a giant sun then there wouldnt be any need for the moon at all
except for maybe in the future when we have artificial moons

i dont get it though
why does a moon even exist
what is its purpose
i mean seriously
we dont really use it for much except for telling time and watching the phases of it
but i mean that could be done with just a digital watch and an app on your phone
im not saying we should get rid of the moon or anything, but why do we need one?

we could easily have a bigger sun which would provide more light at night
