my parents let me play on my phone in a different room to get the heck off of me
they never cared if i got on the internet on the computer
but i guess this is what happens when they realize i'm getting older and want to make sure i don't go crazy over the internet
i can see why because i'm still at the point where i'm like
"ugh, there's so many things wrong with the internet"
and "why would anyone be interested in that"
but i guess its something you have to experience to understand it

i remember when i was a kid
i would watch anime and be like
"this is so bad for my brain but i can't stop watching it"
but i think i was too young to fully grasp the fact that it was bad for me
so i just kept on watching it

yeah, thats why im glad i didnt get into roblox till this year. I got into it cause i was bored and my friends told me to join, and i tried it out and liked it, so i stayed.

i used to play mario kart double dash with my brother all day every day
i didn't understand how bad it was for my eyes until my parents took away all video games
and now i have to wear glasses

i know why they are like that too. Because when I was like 7, I was playing a game called 'Gordon Freeman's Lab'. It was basically Gordon freeman walking around a lab and solving puzzles. You can find a review on it on youtube.

ye. I mean, its understandable. He doesnt want me to spend 2 hours playing a game thats gonna make him feel bad about himself. Im just lucky he's not one of those parents who ban you from gaming all together.
