The forum page is just too wide. The "Previous Page"/"Next Page" button bar needs to be pushed off the side of the page so that it doesn't overlap the posts and get in the way.

Yeah, this is a problem
I actually like the old style page bars, where they'd say 1-10/20 or whatever. I don't see why they changed them.
