I'm taking AP Stats and we're doing probability. I'm supposed to find the odds of winning a game, but I don't know what to do. So basically you pick 3 numbers out of a pool of 6 numbers and if the sum is 17 or under then you win. How do you calculate that?

The probability of winning is (sum(1/6 for i in range(3))) * 4 / 6 * 5 / 6 = 5 / 36
If it is 18 or higher, the probability is: (sum(1/6 for i in range(3))) * 2 / 6 * 5 / 6 = 10 / 36
