I'm trying to figure out what kind of car to get when I graduate. So far, the only one that is in my price range is the Honda Fit. I want a four door compact sedan with a manual transmission.

I don't know if it's just me or not but it seems like there is a big lack of decent options for sedans that come equipped with a stick shift. Most of the ones I've found so far are either too expensive or they're tiny.

I'm thinking of the Corolla because the Civic is a bit too small for my liking and the Fit doesn't look all that good. I'm also trying to figure out how much I can afford before I choose one. If the price range of the Corolla isn't right, then I'm going to have to go with something else.

The Corolla comes in both four door sedans and five door hatchbacks. I don't know if this is true but I've heard that most Corollas are unreliable so I might skip it and go for something else.

It's not really that much though. I just need to make sure that the car I'm going to get will last me at least six years because I don't see myself buying a new one anytime soon.

So far, my options are: the Honda Fit, the Ford Fiesta, the Nissan Versa, or the Hyundai Elantra.

I can do manual transmission on both the Fiesta and the Versa. As for the Elantra, it is only available with a stick shift in certain states.
