1. I don't have to get off my couch to play it, I can play it with a controller.
2. You can play it when you're on your period and not worry about the other kids thinking that you are a girl.
3. When you use it in a school project, the other kids can't say it's a wii.

No its not. Wii can do just as much stuff that a PS2 can.

The PS2 has been around since before the Wii came out...So, yeah, it's more advanced.

Wii came out in 2006, PS2 came out in 1999. Wii was made in 2006, PS2 was made in 2000. Wii has been around for 3 years, PS2 has been around for 9.

Wii is backwards compatible with Gamecube games.
And I'm talking about PS2 vs Wii, not PS1 vs Gamecube

The Gamecube came out in 2001, 2 years AFTER the PS2 came out, so that's why it can be backwards compatible with Gamecube games, but not PS1 games, because the PS1 came out before the PS2.

No, you're not understanding. It is backwards compatible with Gamecube games, but not PS1 games, because the PS1 came out before the PS2, and the PS2 can't play PS1 games.
