The main reason why i hate pokemon is because of the god awful dubbing. If you are a foreigner who just came to America, here's some good news: You can watch the original Japanese version with subtitles. Also, most of the games (EXCEPT FOR POKEMON RUBY/SAPPHIRE/Emerald) are actually pretty good.

the fact they make them so freaking easy.
i played pearl and it was the worst game ever.
the fact it doesnt have any plot.
the fact it has bad animations.
the fact it is 100% boring.

I've played Pearl. It was OK. I'm more of a Diamond guy myself. I also like Emerald, and Sapphire.
