And my mom comes in, and she says "hey" I say "hi"
Then she says "hi, how are you?"
I say "good."
Then she asks "did you have a good time today?"
I say "yes".
Then I ask what is wrong with her.
She says "nothing"
Then I say that I am going to leave now, and go home.
Then she says "Ok, Bye."
Then I said "bye" and walked away.
That was the most awkward conversation ever.

My parents try to make conversation. It's not awkward, but it's very boring and dull.

my dad has a stupid sense of humour so it ends up being more awkward and annoying than boring and dull
