It's literally a year of memes, and people acting like they know everything. People are starting to act like the internet existed before 2004. It's so annoying.
Also, we have more cancer than 1998 did.

why do you think people act like the internet was invented in 2004? that's probably the oldest generation around here... and even then, i don't see how that would be annoying.

It's annoying because they think they know everything about the internet when it is a lie. Most of them probably were born around 2004, so why does that matter?
