Because it's an unoriginal game that was made by someone who didn't give a crap about creativity.
They copied a lot of ideas from other games, but just as far as possible to be unrecognizable, and put them together in a Minecraft-like environment.

People don't like the fact that it's unoriginal because it's unoriginal.
They like the fact that it's unoriginal because they can do whatever the hell they want without being judged for copying other games, which is what makes them feel "cool" and "original".
