Because I was going through my old threads and saw something that made me feel depressed.
I don't want to get into it, but the thread was titled "I can't go to sleep" too.

Dude, you're posting a thread about being depressed on an internet forum.
Just get over it.

What you are saying is that everything is alright and not to worry, right?
I've heard that before.

You haven't learned to deal with your problems yet.
That's okay. Just don't come here looking for advice when it comes to that kind of stuff.

The reason why I came here is because I have never met anyone else with depression here before, so I'm kind of curious as to how others deal with it.

But you are correct in that I should just let it be.

I've got depression
It's pretty easy.
You just don't do anything for awhile until the depression goes away

If it doesn't go away soon, though, then you should probably seek professional help

@Supa
"Depression" is a word used by people who are depressed to make themselves feel better about the fact that they have been depressed.

That is a very bad idea. If you take your mind off of the thing that is bothering you, it only gets worse.

Not really. It's actually just a way of describing your state of mind.
Like if I said "Oh, I'm depressed today"
Or "I'm feeling depressed right now"

No. Because I usually don't.
I use that when I need to get something over with and ignore my problems.
But I've never really found myself to be depressed enough to where I want to do that

@icy
But that would imply that the thing which bothers you will bother you for the rest of time.
This is not always the case, as I can say with confidence.
