Tribeca Film Festival
and apparently, the Tribeca Film Festival was created in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, Craig Hatkoff, and Paul Hoeffel.
The first film festival held in Tribeca was on April 24, 2002. It had a record attendance of over 150,000 people. And it's still going strong today.
