and my little sister was playing with a toy or something downstairs and it fell and hit the ground
and then she started crying in her room
so i walked down to her room
and then she yelled at me
why did you have to come to my room
and im like "what do you think ill do if you yell at me"
and she just keeps yelling and screaming until she gets mad
then she sits in front of me and just cries

if she's young enough, you can threaten her and/or discipline her and tell her that next time she'll get more of a punishment than just yelling back

i usually just sit there and listen to her cry.
when she's done, i say "see ya tomorrow".

You shouldn't have yelled at her, if anything I think you should've asked her if she was okay, but if she keeps yelling don't yell back.
