I have a 5 hour drive to some stupid place, so I'll be on it most of the time.
Does anyone have any tips for me? I haven't played since Crystal. I'm not even sure how much I'll remember.

Go get an Elite Four trainer and level up your team to around lvl 20-30. Then go to the Battle Tower and train there until your team is around lvl 50-60.
Then you can battle the Elite Four.
