Its a bit weird having your place in the first tab rather than on the homepage though.

the only thing i dont like is that the home page doesnt have a search bar or a way to navigate through games.

The homepage doesn't need a search bar because it already has a little box where you can put in names, so there's really no need for a search bar. As far as I know.
