I'm sure you've all heard of the awesome anime series called Dragon Ball Z. Right?
Well anyway, the reason why i liked DBZ is because of the 3 main characters Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta.
Goku is a brave, funny, and cool hero who can defeat anybody in his path. He's also a nice guy that'll help anyone that needs it.
Gohan is not as strong as his father, but he's very smart and has a great sense of justice. He always protects people and even his enemies if they get attacked. In fact, there are times when he's even willing to risk his life for someone!
Vegeta is a great fighter, just like Goku. Except he's kind of stubborn, but still friendly. He's also really competitive, and likes proving himself to be better than other people. For example, during the Saiyan saga, he had to fight Kakarot (Goku) until he actually destroyed the planet they were on in order to make him stop fighting.

My point:
I like DBZ a lot, and will watch it whenever I feel like watching a good anime. But, there's a problem with people saying that the characters are "overpowered", or even "too epic".
The thing is, in a normal anime, characters don't have to be "super" good at everything. They're just your average guys who sometimes have an advantage over others, yet still aren't as good as Goku and Gohan.
