Okay.
Say that the admins had a meeting and decided to make it so that if someone posts a thread in a wrong section, they will be given an option of having to post it in the correct section or posting a new one.
What would happen?

If you posted the thread on the wrong sub-forum then move it to the right sub-forum.
I don't see how this would be a big deal.

Well, they might say something like "Hey, why don't you put it in ATR?" And then you can say "No way, it's off-topic" (assuming that you are really trying to post it in OT) or something else that will get you into trouble with them.
