Well in my experience, most trolls aren't very good at convincing their victims that they are wrong.
Most people can tell when they're being trolled.

Not really.
It's all part of the troll's "game".
Most people who are being trolled are going to give up eventually because they realize they're being trolled.

Some trolls may quit if they don't get any responses after a while, but others will keep going, just so they can laugh at how stupid the person is.
