My mom and my aunt had a funeral today, and she didn't want to deal with the kids.
I think it's stupid that they don't care about the kids, but my brother was like "I know what they mean. They're tired of dealing with us."

The death of a family member is not funny.

@TheNoobish
I'm not laughing, I'm just pointing out why I was dismissed early.

I understand, I'm sorry for the death of your loved one, and I am sorry for you getting upset about the death.

@TheNoobish
She died last month.
And no one in my family cares enough to come to the funeral.

My mom didn't want me to go because she said it would be "too depressing" for me. So she went by herself. I think that's stupid, but oh well.

Well, I don't blame her for being depressed, she lost someone she loved dearly.

It was a grand-aunt.
I hardly knew her, so it's not like I'm going to be all sad about it.
