It's just so depressing to see how people can act like nothing is wrong with it. I hate how the news always makes me feel guilty for being white.

@kistvaen I'm not sure what race OP is. But either way, he has a point. Some people really are blind to their surroundings, and don't want to see the world as it is.

Well, maybe they don't see it because they live somewhere that's less affected by these things. I have a friend who lives near me, and his parents are pretty conservative Republicans. He told me recently that his dad is totally against Trump, and is one of the only Trump-haters in his town. He's like "he's a bigot and I don't support him at all." And he's a Christian. I was just shocked by this.

"Yeah but everyone else in his town loves trump." I mean, it's not really surprising considering how small his town is. And also, as someone who grew up in the suburbs, I've noticed that there is a certain amount of racism that is bred in them. Especially since in my town, most of the black people are concentrated into a small part of it, so whenever white people encounter the blacks, they're usually not expecting to, and can be kind of racist towards them.
