I only care about the track events and the swimming events.
Those are the only sports I enjoy watching.
The rest is pretty boring to me as well.

Running and Swimming obviously.
Track events include running, long jumping, etc..

track is one of the more interesting things about the olympics
i like watching the pole vault event the most. it's so crazy

The Pole Vault event looks extremely difficult but I like watching them because they fly into the air and sometimes hit themselves on the way down.

yeah pole vault is cool
and if you fall on your neck and have a bad landing, it can hurt a lot

I guess you can do something similar with other events as well like basketball or tennis.

most people just watch the baseball team
