every block has a different type of physics
and also there are different types of blocks in minecraft, not just normal blocks (stone, wood, dirt etc.)
there are blocks that you can only get in creative mode
|

when you think about it
everything is made out of smaller blocks
except maybe for water and lava, but even then it's still made out of blocks
