I get a lot of them asking to be "loaned" 500 dollars. Why would i loan someone that much, it's a stupid question.
I'm like, no. Get your own money.
They then proceed to say something along the lines of "i have my own problems and i don't want you to have yours" or something like that. They act as if they're some sort of angel who can help everyone.
Well, why not do it yourself instead of bothering other people?
If you really had "your own problems" you would realize that there is only so much time in the day. And if you try to help everyone else, you'll end up with nothing to help yourself.

i hate when people ask me for money
i usually just ignore them because i know i wouldn't get anything out of giving it to them anyways

Yeah, I generally don't answer messages from random strangers anymore. But every once in a while there are people who really seem desperate enough for you to at least give a response.
