I am a Christian and this is my confession of faith.
1.) The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, without error in all its original language, and the final authority for faith and practice.
2.) The Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each eternally existing in three distinct persons but not three gods. They are co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal; they are bound together by an indivisible relationship and united in purpose and action.
3.) God’s Sovereignty: God has been pleased to reveal Himself in nature and providence. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is the ultimate cause for all that exists and happens. He alone is sovereign over His creation.
4.) The Fall: Man was created innocent, holy and without sin. By voluntary transgression man fell and his fellowship with God was broken. Sin entered the world and all people have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
5.) Salvation: Salvation is offered to mankind by grace through faith alone in Christ Jesus, and that it cannot be earned or deserved; nor is it a result of human effort, personal merit or works.
6.) Man’s Destiny: Those who reject Christ will be banished from God’s presence forever. Those who receive Christ will live eternally with Him.
7.) Creation: Man was created innocent and holy, made in the image and likeness of God, yet tempted by the devil he sinned and thereby lost his innocence.
