so he's saying something like "11 is just about to turn into an adult"
and he's buying me this toy
which i know is bad.
he's only doing it because i said i liked it.
he doesn't care how much i like it, he's just going to buy it for me.

but i want real presents. i get to open the best present in the world every year and then get all these dumb ones that are supposed to be good but really aren't.
