I'm doing something and people ask me if I'm going to do it, like:
"Are you going to play Mario Kart?"
"No. I'm playing Splatoon."
"Aw. That's a shame."
And then they leave.

Well, there is the option of going somewhere where social interaction isn't necessary.
Like, a cave with no windows and no light sources, then you'd be fine.
