It is real. If you think about it, how do we know there will be another year? Just because people said there would be, there probably will be. There was a year before 2001, and there will probably be one after 2012. It could even start again if the numbers go around again.

Yeah. The world has always been here. But it won't be in 2013. If the Mayans were right, which they are, then the world will end in 2012. And since the world hasn't been around for billions of years, it can't be here in 2013.

I think I do. The Mayans were a very advanced race. They knew everything about the sky, the sun, the moon, etc. So, they could tell when the sun and moon would align with each other and when they wouldn't. This helped them predict solar storms, which caused the sun to go crazy and kill all of us. We may not have been around for billions of years, but we'll definitely die in 2012.
