The book is called "The Giver" if you wanna look it up. It was an easy read, but I liked it a lot.
It's about a dystopian society where people aren't allowed to have memories or emotions. Everyone is equal and nobody is special. The main character then has an epiphany and decides to do something about it, leading to an emotional twist at the end.
I found this book in my middle school library last year, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to bring it into high school as well. I'm really glad I did because it was a very interesting and thought-provoking read.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys dystopian fiction, but even if you don't, it still has some great morals behind it.

no
dystopia is the antonym of utopia
utopia - everything is nice and perfect and no one dies
dystopia - everything is terrible and no one dies
