I used to play the gameboy color (i'm sure you all know what it is)
and then i would make up a story for each of the pokemon in my head
but what really makes me mad is that there was no pikachu on my gameboy color because there were only 100 different pokemon.
and so i had to imagine how pikachu looked like and that's why pikachu looks so weird now because it's not based on his actual appearance but rather what i imagined him to look like
what a terrible mistake

oh god i made a huge mistake
i just realized the reason why pikachu looks so weird now is because there was no pikachu on my gameboy color
but there wasn't even any pikachu on the first pokemon anime
so that means pikachu doesn't look normal right now because it's not based on his actual appearance or on what he looks like in the anime (because he didn't appear in the first episode)
it's based on what i imagined him to look like when i played pokemon as a kid
this is even worse than i thought
