We had to read the passage and then write a summary of it. I got 8/9, because apparently my summary was too long.

No, it wasn't, it was just that it was more than half the length of the passage we were supposed to summarize. It was supposed to be only a few sentences, but I made it like 2 paragraphs. They said I was supposed to use my own words, but all I could really do is copy and paste it because I didn't know what to put in between the lines.
