Mine is the flag, because I think it looks really awesome and has a lot of history.
I know that sounds weird but what can I say? I'm in love with flags.

Oh yeah, they're getting old. It seems like it. All these old buildings and monuments everywhere just seem so... Old.

they started out with wood, then iron, then steel

yes, but back then they used less durable materials that would require more maintenance
