He was looking for a knife and he found some duct tape and he went in the kitchen and got out the scissors then he made it into a dagger.

It would have been easier if you had taken apart the handle on the scissors and taped it on the other end of the blade.
You'd also have to take apart the blades of the scissors because they are spring loaded and will cut you. Then it would be like any old knife you find laying around the kitchen.
