"Many people argue that religion is unnecessary in today’s society. However, the benefits of religion are numerous."
And then I said the benefits include
- Promoting morality
- Giving people a sense of community and purpose
- Promoting tolerance
And then I went into how it promotes peace and love and stuff.
I'm just saying, this was a bit of an argumentative essay, and I'm not even sure if we can say anything about religion without sounding biased.

But I'm not religious.
I just like the morals that it teaches.
I just used the word "many" to give the essay more structure.

Well, obviously I'm not.
I mean, there's, like, the whole world population for starters.
But still, a lot of people are atheist and I was just wondering why people hate religion so much when there's actually some pretty good things about it.

Yeah, I guess that's true.
But I don't know, I've never really seen anything bad come out of my church before.
Not saying anything bad comes out of any other church, I just don't have anything against religion.
It's just that all the people who argue against it do so from a completely biased point of view, which annoys me.
