I'm sorry that it is hard for you to understand my opinion. You see, I don't like the Wii U. And I'm not trying to get a flame war going on or anything. I just want to explain why I dislike the Wii U.
First off, it is not compatible with Gamecube games and controllers. Why would you take out a system that was popular? Sure, maybe some of you never liked the gamecube. But a lot of people did. So if Nintendo wants their next gen system to sell, they need to have backwards compatibility.
Second off, you can only play single player games online. You are able to play multiplayer games online, but what happens if you just want to play by yourself? Then you aren't going to be able to play online. And there aren't many online games for the wii u right now. All that there is are a few first person shooters and some racing games.
Thirdly, the wii u controller is ugly. It looks like it is made for kids. The kids section on the eShop is full of these kinds of things. If you're gonna make something for kids, then keep it in the kids section!
And lastly, it is way overpriced. The cheapest version costs $299. That's just too much for me! I'm saving up for the PS4, and I think that will cost around $399 or so, which is still cheaper than the Wii U. And the PS4 is more powerful.
I hope you understand why I dislike the Wii U. If you don't, then I'll just say "it's your opinion."

I think it has a lot of potential, but Nintendo hasn't done a lot with it yet. Once they release more titles and put out more games, it may be better. Plus, the Gamepad is nice.
