im a 5th grader and i found out that the guy in front of me is a 6th grader
i have to take a test next week for my teacher to decide if I get to go to 6th or not.
I'm freaking out because I might be a year older than him.
I can't even talk to my parents about it because they're both busy. They don't even know he's a 6th grader

my mom doesn't even know he's a 6th grader either. I told her but she just said "don't worry, you're going to be fine".
That made me feel worse

i asked my dad what he talked to the teacher about
he said that my dad asked the teacher if it's ok for me to be in 6th with him so i'm just going to go ask him myself tomorrow.
