I have been on this earth for a long time now, and I think that the worst thing that has ever happened to me was when I got cancer. I don't know why I got it, but I'm just glad that I survived.

Also, it's not cancer anymore. It's stage 2 now, which is better than stage 3 (which I was in).

I am going to post my story here
It's a long one
so grab a snack
I was born on July 7th 2005 and grew up in a happy family with 4 dogs and 1 cat.
When I was 10 my life was turned upside down when my dog died from rabies.
That day I saw my mom crying and so I asked her "what's wrong?" she replied "your dog has passed away".
I said "WHAT?!" and ran upstairs to my room and broke down into tears. My dog was always there for me and it was like he knew when I was sad or mad he would always be there to comfort me.
My dad took me out that day to get a new dog but I didn't want to leave the old one behind so we both went to the pet store to find a new dog. We looked around for about 15 minutes until I spotted a small white puppy with black ears, tail, legs and spots. I fell instantly in love with him so I begged my dad to buy him. He reluctantly agreed and bought him. Then he named him "Buddy".
We got back home and put Buddy in his new bed and left him there while we made dinner. When we were done eating we went upstairs to check up on him. We opened his cage and let him out and he started jumping all over us. We decided that he could sleep in our bedroom for the night. After that night he stayed in my room and slept in my bed and slept with me every night.
As years went by I grew up and Buddy started to grow older.
When I was 16 Buddy got sick and had to go to the vet. They said he had cancer so they operated on him and removed all of the cancer cells from him.
After that I had to take him to the vet every week to have chemo treatments for his cancer. It took months but Buddy survived.
He lived to be 12.
It was December 1st 2017 when Buddy died of old age.
